Cruises From Houston
The Houston cruise season resumes again this October. Norwegian Cruise Lines, freestyle – Norwegian Jewel begins 7 day cruises from Houston on October 11, 2014.
Princess Cruises - Emerald Princess will offer 7 day cruises from Houston Bayport Cruise Terminal to the Western Caribbean starting November 16, 2014.
Both cruise lines have the same itinerary. They both have ports in Cozumel, Roatan and Belize City.
The Bay Islands of Honduras offer a very different world from that of mainland Honduras. Of the three islands, the largest, and most developed for tourism is Roatan. Roatan is a long island, measuring almost 40 miles in length and with a total landmass of 49 Square miles. The island has a mountainous backbone and is totally surrounded by coral reefs, offering superb diving as well as excellent fishing.
Belize City is your gateway to mystic Maya Sites (only found in Central America), adventurous caves, rivers, unique flora, fauna and relaxing breathtaking beaches, but it is also filled with history. Belize City has the only manual swing bridge in the world which is still being swung daily. The oldest Anglican Cathedral Church in Central America, St. John’s Cathedral, was built in 1812 from bricks brought as ballast from European sailing ships.
Cruises from Houston offer a great vacation with a taste of world history.
